Who we are

Shobolinsky is an independent engineering team building embedded AI, navigation, and communication systems. For any privacy-related question, contact us at hello@shobolinsky.com.

What we collect

• Contact form: first name, last name, email address, and the message you send us.
• Shop orders: your email, name, and any notes you provide at checkout, plus the order contents and totals. Payments are processed by PayPal or PayU directly — we never see or store your card details.
• Admin accounts: the email address and authentication details (password hash and/or passkey) of site administrators only. This does not apply to regular visitors.

How we use it

We use the data above only to respond to your enquiries, fulfil and manage shop orders, secure the admin dashboard, and keep the site running reliably. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Strictly necessary cookies are used only inside the admin dashboard to keep an administrator signed in. With your consent, we also load Simple Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and to change your choice at any time.

Third parties

We share data with the following third parties only as needed to provide the service you requested:

• PayPal / PayU — to process shop payments.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
• Simple Analytics — for anonymous, cookieless traffic statistics, only if you've allowed analytics.
• MongoDB Atlas — our database provider, used to securely store orders, shop content, and admin accounts.

How long we keep data

Contact form messages and order records are kept for as long as needed to respond to your request, fulfil your order, and meet any legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@shobolinsky.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we hold, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and passkey-based authentication for admin accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
