The rats recently participated in a Hackathon organized by ESA. The task? Train a machine learning model that detects the composition of exoplanets’ atmospheres when transiting in front of their home star.

World CanSat/Rocketry Championship 2024

Team Shobolinsky took home Second place, along with "The Most Professional Team" award, whilst breaking the record for the fastest CanSat water landing.

We continued our environmental data collection with the addition of measuring certian components of sea water to gain an insight into how coastal weather influences agriculture more inland.

Robochallenge 2024

In RoboChallenge 2024, our team competed in two categories: Mini Sumo and Mega Sumo. Both robots featured fully custom electronics. For the Mini Sumo category, we designed an all-in-one PCB that integrated the motor controller and main board, showcasing our focus on compact and efficient engineering.

Romanian Cansat/Rocketry Championship 2024

Shobolinsky won the First place and Best CanSat award. Out of 8 starting teams, the rats managed to build and innovate in the field of agricultural science, classifying crop health based on environmental variables.

Battle Lab Robotica 2024

In the 2024 edition of Battle Lab Robotica, our team embraced innovation by experimenting with a worm gear reduction system, a new set of motors, and a precision CNC-machined base plate crafted on a five-axis machine. Despite encountering setbacks, our experimental design secured fourth place, showcasing our commitment to pushing boundaries.
