Who is Shobolinsky?
Shobolinsky’s story begins at the tail end of 2021, when two high school friends decided to take their wild ideas and turn them into reality. What started as late-night discussions about robots soon transformed into a full-blown team, growing with each challenge. Fast forward, and we’re not just building robots—we’re winning multiple hackathons, dominating national and international competitions, and pushing the limits of technology with each project.

Innovation is at the heart of what we do. We love creating fresh, out-of-the-box ideas (sometimes quite literally, because we’ve run out of parts more than once). And while most teams stress over deadlines, we’re too busy enjoying the ride.

Our Story
Once upon a time, in 2021, two bold high school adventurers, Kristof the “Electro Wizard” and Marton the “Code Conjurer, ” set off on a wild journey through the kingdom of Competitions.
Kristof brought circuits to life with a flick of his wrist, making wires dance and gadgets hum like they were under his spell, while Marton’s programs were so clever, it seemed like he had cast a coding spell to make them run on their own. From coding duels that twisted their minds into knots to electronics challenges that almost ended in a smoke-filled meltdown, they tackled it all with skill, humor, and maybe just a few lucky guesses.
Their reputation spread like wildfire, and in 2023, Atena—aka “The Brainiac” —joined their team, taking charge of mechanics and the outreach program, turning Shobolinsky into a creative powerhouse. With Atena’s precision in mechanics and her knack for spreading the word about their innovations, Shobolinsky quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Their first creation? A combat robot with a rat-like charm, built from scrap aluminum "L" profiles—because, let’s be honest, they were broke. But that scrappy bot became their signature style, symbolizing their creativity and resourcefulness.
By 2024, Shobolinsky wasn’t just winning hackathons and competitions —they were innovating, pushing boundaries, and proving that with a little ingenuity, teamwork, and fun, anything is possible. With Kristof’s circuits, Marton’s code, and Atena’s mechanics and outreach, they’re racing toward the future, one wire at a time, and their adventure is only just beginning.
